Our season closes with a magical musical that is the most beautiful of love stories. It is sophisticated, yet pure, revealing the fragility and innocence of young love. This musical, the longest-running of all time, looks at the whimsy and poignancy of age and human nature, helping us recognize a part of ourselves in its characters and situations. We may truly see ourselves and smile at what we once were, what we are, and perhaps, what we will always be.
The magic that was, returns again, with cast members from the 1982 production reprising their roles, capping off the Starlighters II Silver Anniversary season.
