Macbeth - Scottish General and later, King of Scotland. Driven by ambition which devolves into bloodthirsty insanity.
Age Range: 25 - 50 (Similar age to Lady Macbeth)

Special Requirements: Physical role, requires stage combat - Ton of memorization
Lady Macbeth - Wife of Macbeth and later, Queen of Scotland. Bloodthirsty and ambitious. Her murderous desires lead to tragedy, insanity, and disaster.
Age Range: 25 - 50 (Similar age to Macbeth)
Gender: Female
Macduff - Thane of Fife and General. Ally to the king and later, enemy to Macbeth. Driven by morality before tragedy strikes, then driven by revenge.
Age Range: 20 - 50
Gender: Open to all genders
Special Requirements: Physical role; requires stage combat
Banquo - Scottish General and best friend to Macbeth
Age Range: 20 and up
Gender: Open to all genders
Duncan - King of Scotland before he’s assassinated
Age Range: 50+
Gender: Male
Malcolm - Son of Duncan and later, leader of the resistance.
Age Range: 18 - 25
Gender: Male
Special Requirements: Open to learning stage combat
Ross - Lord and General in Scotland. Serves many masters. Depending on the casting, the role is either extremely loyal or extremely conniving/evil.
Age Range: 18 and up

Three Witches - Mystical beings concerned with prophecy. In the original play there are three main witches.
Age Range: 15 and up
